The Challenge

Managing a catchment area of over a million inhabitants across multiple health facilities means that every clinical decision must work in highly diverse settings, with different staff and patients with very different needs. USL Toscana Centro was not looking for a tool for a single department: they were looking for something that would respond with the same effectiveness in Oncology as in Pediatrics, in Nephrology as in Hospice care — without requiring technical adaptations for each context.
