Military Brotherhood of Florence — lemonAID

lemonAID is the volunteer program of Lemons in the Room: the Military Brotherhood of Florence brings virtual reality to hospitalized children through community involvement.

The Challenge

Not all hospitalized children have access to the same emotional support tools. lemonAID was created to bridge this gap: a program that does not just raise funds, but builds a community of people and organizations aware of what it means to reduce distress in children in hospitals.

Not all hospitalized children have access to the same emotional support tools. lemonAID was created to bridge this gap: a program that does not just raise funds, but builds a community of people and organizations aware of what it means to reduce distress in children in hospitals.

The challenge was to create an engagement model that would transform awareness into concrete and measurable action.

Our strategy

The Military Brotherhood of Florence has joined lemonAID, bringing its network and history of social commitment to the service of a shared goal: to ensure that more hospitalized children can benefit from therapeutic virtual reality. The project includes awareness raising, fundraising, and direct participation.
