The Challenge

After positive results in oncology, Le Scotte decided to extend the use of therapeutic VR to two departments: Oncology and Pediatric Surgery. The goal: to make procedures such as blood draws, dressing changes, and post-operative awakenings less traumatic.

The pediatric section required content specifically for younger children, with a user experience accessible even to children aged 4 and up.

Our Strategy

We have activated Lemons in both departments with full adoption of the service: headsets, dedicated content, staff training, and ongoing support. The immersive experiences are tailored to the age and type of procedure.

A pilot project that became part of everyday operations: the children ask for the headset even before the procedure.
