The Challenge

Cancer patients face long and invasive treatments, with high levels of anxiety and pain. The Oncology Department at Careggi was looking for a non-pharmacological, effective, and sustainable approach to improve patients’ experience during chemotherapy and infusion therapies.

An immediate tool was needed, one that could be integrated into existing clinical workflows and positively received by both patients and healthcare staff.

Our strategy

We introduced Lemo alongside patients during therapy sessions. Immersive experiences like Telly's Bubbles and Rabbits Playground accompany the patient in calm and engaging environments. The journey with Careggi does not stop at Oncology: a second active clinical study evaluates the impact of LEMO on the emotional well-being of patients undergoing gynecological oncology treatment.
